Youth In Music Events
"As a young child, my life was filled with music. I can remember singing on stage at age 3, then I started playing clarinet in school in 5th grade where I was in marching band and concert orchestra through graduation. I sang in school chorus, and competed in solo school vocal competitions. At age 14, I was privileged to start traveling with professional groups singing. By the age of 16, I sat behind my first sound board, and from there it took off.
Music was there for me at times when life wasn't easy. Music was an outlet that offered hope and something to focus on when I was young, and music positively shaped my life.
It seems music chose me at a young age. I have been honored to be mentored by some amazing people and now it is my honor - my duty - to give back." ~ Sheri
